Summer Talks are a time for us to gather with friends, neighbors, and co-workers over a meal to listen, converse, and learn. The desire is to help us see how faith influences our lives in the city and to consider positive ways that we might help shape our communities and city. All are welcome regardless of faith or spiritual commitments.
Our next Summer Talk will focus on Caring for the Sick. We’ll begin by sharing a meal and hearing from a few medical professionals on how their faith influences their care for the sick. This will be followed by a Q/A where everyone gathered can ask questions from the speakers. And after that we’ll grab some dessert and break into smaller groups to discuss, converse, and consider ways that we might care for the sick and medical professionals.
Email pastor Matthew for the location of this event as it will be held at one of our parishioner’s homes.
